1 Age in 1 Year

This is a chronology trip which I’d like to take with all Silmarillion fans. What if the whole 1st Age of the Sun would fit in only 1 year? That’s what you’ll see here! Follow the important events of the early history of Arda as they take place. You can use this page to read the Silmarillion (according to the proper chronology) or just to remember some passages sometimes we tend to forget. This page  starts officially in March,28th,2011 after sunset, marking the 1st hour of Yestarë of the new year, 139. Stay tuned for the upcoming events in this ancient, true & long-forgotten History!

2012 EDIT: As you read above, we need a 2012 update! So, from March,27th, 2012 sunset until March,27th, 2013 sunset, we would join the people from Númenor & Middle-Earth in all the events of the 2nd Age of the Sun! Here comes 2 Ages in 2 Years for the whole year of XIV 140

2013 EDIT: Now come to pass the time of we waited patiently for this couple of years. It’s Ring time coming up! From March,27th,2013 sunset until March,27th,2014 sunset we’ll join the Free peoples of Middle-Earth against the dark forces of Sauron and see the fate of all being decided by the most unlikely creature…a hobbit. That’s the 3rd Age of the Sun and here comes 3 Years in 3 Ages in XIV 141.

  1. Wow, that’s amazing! My deep respect to you!
Perhaps, there is no 2014 update to wait for, is there? Fo. A. isn’t known so good…

  2. I just found that, and I’ve gotta say it’s great! You’ve done amazing work putting all of them together. I believe though it will have been better reversed. Starting from the 1st age moving down to the 3rd (instead of moving up). It’s just strange now; nothing else.

    • I didn’t do that way because it would take ages for people to scroll down and find out the NEW stuff added each time we had a new event published. See?
