Vacation Mode ON (tradition is kept)

Today (oficially) starts my Vacation! At last, I’m free, I do what I want at anytime! That’s a blessing! Don’t get me wrong, I like my job and I like to work as well, but being on vacation, is such a special moment that I established a tradition of celebrating it like a hobbit would. As I’m happy I want others to be happy with me too, so I buy gifts for them! Mámë, my girl is always the #1 target. Last couple of years, she got as gifts Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion (she’s just a toddler in the Tolkien legendarium yet) and today she got The Adventures of Tom Bombadil, a character that she liked a lot.

It’s official, it has become my own tradition. When my vacation starts, I buy her a special gift to celebrate it.

And what about you? Have you got any Tolkien-related tradition? Let’s share and build our own celebrations with their own special meaning!
