Middle-Earth-Ready

Middle Earth Ready

Is it ready?

If you came to this page it’s probably because you saw the Middle-Earth-Ready? logo and clicked for it. Now shall we test your computer and see if it’s ready for browsing elvish sites? It’s pretty easy! Check the images below!

If you see next to the logo something like:

Not ready!

Not ready!

Then your machine is not elvish friendly. You should be reading Tengwar alphabet there and not those codes!

But don’t despair! Download Tengwar fonts (you can find them here), restart your engine and you shall be ready for Middle-Earth like this…..

Ready to go!

Ready to go!

See? Well, it’s quite easy to solve this problem when you got Windows and Google Chrome. NOW, if you have another operational system and browser (mobiles won’t work yet) you may still have some problems unknown to most of elves of Middle-Earth. Talk to us and perhaps we can help you getting Middle-Earth ready!

    Hi,

I was wondering if you could provide the text versions of the Gandalf quote, “all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us” in both English and Quenya written in Tengwar. Thanks!

I can’t see the Tengwar just the codes because I have Windows 8…but I have Google Chrome….Can you help me?

    • It should work with Windows 8. Did you install all the fonts? Did you reboot? I’m no computer super genius, but I’ll try to come up with something to help you. I just need researching!

I noticed recently that my computer can read the Tengwar for the first two fonts* and the Tengwar Quenya font. How long does it take for a computer read the other fonts after you download them?
